    Joey Swift Project Manager Hails From: Atlanta, GA Education: Roanoke College - B.A. Theatre Post graduation, Joey returned to Atlanta where he began work as a carpenter at Horizon Theatre Company. Joey later became the Assistant Technical Director of Horizon before accepting the role of Technical Director at The Atlanta Lyric Theatre. During his tenure there, he continued to work as a lighting and scenic designer with other companies including OutFront Theatre Company, Found Stages, and 7 Stages. As aProject Manager at Concord Creative, Joey enjoys the breadth of work that he is able to be a part of, and he specifically enjoys the familiarity of the theatrical community and the challenges that are presented with the variety of each show. Favorite Concord Project (so far): Amongst Joey’s favorite projects are the 2023 American Country Music Awards and CMT’s 2023 Summer Camp with Tyler Hubbard. His roots in theatre have made him partial to working with the administration and crew of the Drury Lane Theatre just outside of Chicago ​ ​ Previous Next

  • Mark McMullen

    Mark McMullen Shop Manager Hails From: Sandy Springs, GA Mark began his storied, thirty-five-year career as a builder in architectural millwork in the 1980s. By 1990, Mark transitioned to making scenery for theme parks and corporate theater events, which he did for five years. In the mid-nineties, Mark then became a prop maker for movies, and although he enjoyed it, filming grew more scarce in Georgia—so he eventually transitioned to trade shows. In 2015, after Atlanta again became a popular filming destination, Mark returned to building sets for movies and television, and became a Foreman for Netflix’s series Stranger Things. Favorite Concord Project (so far): So far in his tenure at Concord Creative, Mark’s favorite project has been the set build for Ring of Fire at the Drury Lane theater, due to the timeless music permeating the show. ​ ​ Previous Next

  • Daniel Rissanen

    Daniel Rissanen CNC Operator Hails From: Buford, GA Daniel was a student of theatre, and, while in school, took a liking to set construction and installation. Upon completing school, Daniel began working for Concord Creative as a part-time shop hand before stepping into his current role manning their array of CNC machines. Favorite Concord Project (so far): Daniel’s favorite project since joining the team has been building scenery for "A Night When Hope and History Rhyme," a one-off event held on the South Lawn of The White House, featuring a musical performance by Sir Elton John. ​ ​ Previous Next
