Mark McMullen
Shop Manager
Hails From: Sandy Springs, GA
Mark began his storied, thirty-five-year career as a builder in architectural millwork in the 1980s. By 1990, Mark transitioned to making scenery for theme parks and corporate theater events, which he did for five years. In the mid-nineties, Mark then became a prop maker for movies, and although he enjoyed it, filming grew more scarce in Georgia—so he eventually transitioned to trade shows. In 2015, after Atlanta again became a popular filming destination, Mark returned to building sets for movies and television, and became a Foreman for Netflix’s series Stranger Things.
Favorite Concord Project (so far): So far in his tenure at Concord Creative, Mark’s favorite project has been the set build for Ring of Fire at the Drury Lane theater, due to the timeless music permeating the show.
